Venice has six sestieri (neighbourhoods), I love each of them. In general no matter which neighbourhood you choose you will be surprised just how small the city really is and how much distance you cover in just a small amount of time. Don't be afraid to explore and do get lost... you will most likely find hidden treasures.

Our apartments are found in both the San Marco and Dorsoduro neighbourhoods.
